Since the inception of Rock Solid in 2004, we have seen many changes in the process of impacting lives. We have watched over 2500 children come through in 2004-2006. We believed we were quite content at our first location, only to watch God uproot us and move us to Riverside. During our two summers at Riverside, we watched the transformation of a Shreveport historical site, as well as experiencing the blessing of having over 5000 kids.. We have seen this past year 250 Special Olympic Athletes impacted, 40 Schumpert 5.2.1.0 childhood obesity and eating disorder children impacted, every Providence House child, as well as, 2400 All-American kids. We have given away over $300,000 in subsidies since we began and have impacted 58 other non-profits. However, circumstances, which we believe God has ordained, have caused us to again move to something bigger and better.

Many of you have heard rumors throughout the community of our new project called The Impact Center. Calvary has blessed us with land (Thank you Calvary!). As long as we sit in our comfort zone, we are unable to impact more lives. We cannot continue to change a community without more space. Therefore, we will begin construction on our new property on the back of Calvary’s campus in just a few short days. Summer will be run from that facility. Please understand that Rock Solid is not changing to ‘Calvary Rock Solid’, but rather will grow bigger and better than ever, with a new pool, a spray water park, indoor space, sand volleyball, skate part, roller hockey rink, etc., with the future growth including and ice rink, basketball gym, indoor pool, indoor rock climbing, pro shop, etc. We will also have the use of more field space and a ton of indoor space, getting the campers out of the weather and heat.

Please join us as we leap to the next chapter of our faith journey. Our staff and commitment to your children will only grow stronger. For some it may mean ten minutes more to our location, but I give you my word that it will be ten minutes well spent. Thank you for staying with us, as I know you have a choice. We look forward to continue serving your family and also to the added excitement that our new location will bring.

At Rock Solid Camps we are "Seeking To Make An Impact, One Life At A Time" through sports camps, day camps, adventure camps, family camps, holiday camps, inner city projects, and community wide activities. Kids, ages 4-18, have the opportunity to participate in an all around camp experience in a fun environment, while also learning team building, character building, and leadership skills in a non-denominational Christian environment.

We run on a 6 to 1 camper to counselor ratio and guarantee both the safety and growth of your child(ren) as we only employ the finest coaches and role models for our campers. It is our goal for our campers and our staff that they walk away from our camps having been touched in a way that their lives will never be the same again.
